What does your name mean and why did your parents choose it for you?

I was named after either Teresa Wright (actress) or Teresa Brewer (singer), not sure which one.  I'm not familiar with the work of either of them.  As for the extra "s" in my name, my mother has been teased about being "drunk", i.e., doped up on pain meds after my arrival, when she decided to make my name hard to spell :)

That's one reason I named my daughter Megan: I could SPELL it!  I know there are many different spellings out there, but I chose the most common one, not wanting to inflict the same curse on her.

What do you absolutely refuse to eat?

Hominy!  I can't even stand to smell it, much less put it in my mouth.  My daughter loves it, unfortunately.  I have to literally hold my breath while I'm fixing it.

What time is your alarm clock set for?  Do you use the snooze button?

We don't need an alarm clock.  When we hear Charmed on TV, we know it's between 5-7AM and either lie there awhile or decide it's time to get up.  For me, it all depends on how loudly the coffee pot is calling my name :)

Who is your Alert In Case Of Emergency person?  

Boss (my dh), of course.  I have my ICE number in my cell phone set to his work cell, because I know he always has that on him while he's working.  If he's not working, I'm either with him or he won't be gone long enough for it to matter.  I still need to set up my "chain of command", though, i.e., he should call my mother, who will take care of calling my daughter; my daughter should call her "adopted" brother and stepbrother.  That's as far as I can think right now, but I know there's plenty more, so nobody out there feel slighted, just don't have it all figured out yet :)

I'm too stubborn to die anyway.  Heaven doesn't want me and Hell's afraid I'll take over!

Can't type, can't spell, leaving out words, and sometimes, I just don't make sense, especially if I try to write while I'm in high manic mode.  As for how many times...whatever it takes to "git 'er done".  

What item(s) do you have to prevent yourself from buying at the grocery store?

I have to watch about picking up too much fresh food at once, like produce.  I try to limit myself to only what I think I can use before it goes bad.  Knowing I'm within walking distance of 2 grocery stores helps, because I know I can always run and grab something at a moment's notice, but if I'm hungry....sometimes I'm a pig :)

I show up in posts about Frapr, Twitter, and my ex-fiance's blog!  I posted to it once, just to pick on him, and there it was.

Excite, which is my start page; don't remember exactly how that happened, but I've kept it all these years.  Then I check out Linda Black's horoscope readings (silly, I know, but it's just habit).  Then I hit the comics: For Better or For Worse is my fave, followed by Andy Capp and Wizard of Id.  Then it's over to my Yahoo page, where Garfield awaits.  Then I check the work site and pray there's no new work orders. 

Then there's Babble and my MSN support groups.  I used to read the Redding newspaper online, but they fubar'd the site to the point that it's actually easier for me to read the "real" paper!  I eventually hit the Nashville paper online too, just to see what the hillbillies are up to. 

I'm sure there's other stuff, but that's enough for now!
